we made it to Atlantis in Nassau

We had a short cruise day today as we traveled from Chub Cay to Atlantis. Sorry only a view  pictures today as I've had to upload fom my IPHONE; I'll try and fix it.

All is good and the girls Joyce Jill and Erin show up tomorrow.

We made it to the Bahamas

We are in chub cay arrived at 2pm. Boat ran well we started out at 530 to take advantage of the tide. Ran the Bahamas banks 15 feet of water sort of edge of your seat at 25mph. The water is blue green with a capital BLUE.

Sorry no pictures today can't get them to load. We are headed to Nassau today to pick up Joyce Jill and Erin.

As I type this note yet another sun rise on the water.

Islamorada ODDS and ENDS

Today was what we call a down day on the water. We slept in until 7 worked email and a little papper work.

Some maintenance work on the strb engine ie changed fuel filter and clean water sensor.

Did some food shopping and a couple boat items.


Nice lunch at the tiki bar and good dinner at a local place called ocean view.

We are headed for chub cay tomorrow off shore across the gulf stream.

Made it to Islamorada Florida today

Pulled into holiday isle marina at 2pm today. Seas were a mix today and we saw it all from 2-3 feet to 5-6 Feet for the last 45 minutes after we made the channel 5 pass under the bridge; Keith called it very sloppy.

If this isn't paradise then it's only a cat whisker away.

We are in marco island florida

Another wonder day on the water. We started at 730 and tied up at marina at factory bay at 230. Ran off shore all day waves were 2 foot all day long. There were many crab pots all day that required standby on the auto pilot just enough that you had to be on the look-out.

We had a great meal at the snook in.
All for today. Not many pictures as they would be the same "bright blue sky matched by blue/green water.

Monday night made it to clearwater

Ran from carrabelle to Clearwater inlet to inlet 6 hours 35 minutes. Boat ran great and we sorta had following seas but frankly the waves were 2-3 feet. The following pictures are fr today.

The weather has just been amazing bright blue skies and blue water.

We stayed in carrabelle Fl. Last night

We traveled about 200 miles sunday. Sleep well and docked at the moorings.

Palafox marina today

We made it to pensacola fl. Today arrived at 330 just a perfect day on the water. Boat ran well and the weather was outstanding.

Mississippi sound at 1030

Crossed the Gulfport channel at 1030 cruising along at 25 mph. Saw three sets of dolphins.

Headed east out of new Orleans 820 all is well. We slept like a rock

Waiting at the industrial lock

Waiting for the locks to open they are closed from 345 to 645. All is well. We plan to stay at seabrook marina tonight.

We are in Lake Charles

We arrived and tied up about 5pm today. Ran ICW all the way. It was nice to travel on a cool cloudy day. All is well.

On the ICW middle of the day it was like a sheet of glass. The only broblem was a string of TOW boats all day long. We throttled back on all passes and all was good as we got waves vs fingers all day long.

Headed out of Kemah just about : 9am looked like rain most of day but never did

The night before we leave

Just starting to tell the story. Its the night before we leave. The Tempus is as ready as I can make it and its sorta of funny but one can tell its time to cast off. I'll do my best to try and send daily updates but no guarantees.

Our current cruising plans will takes us east along the Gulf Coast around Florida and onto the Bahamas.

Plan to head out tomorrow Am.
